This renovation started with the demolition of an existing wall to open up the kitchen as part of an overall kitchen remodel. To tie in with the new kitchen, a beautiful new metal and wood handrail was designed, manufactured and installed. As well, the living room and upstairs bedrooms received new hardwood flooring and the front entry was tiled in the same style as the kitchen. After receiving knowledgeable hands-on instruction from Gold Paw staff, the homeowners helped with the floor tiling and hardwood installation to save on some labour costs, and decided to install baseboards and to paint the walls themselves.
